tbus
Hi. I'm trying to install Paint.NET.3.5.10 on a computer that has .NET FW 4 and has no internet connection, and get an error message "an error occurred while downloading the setup package" 1 - I dont understand why it's trying to install FW3.5 on my computer. My guess, the error is from the installation. 2 - What can i do to install only Paint.NET without FW3.5? thnx
david.atwell
You can't. Paint.NET requires .NET 3.5 to run. .NET 4.0 is not the same thing. When Paint.NET 4 comes out, it will require the 4.0 framework, but the current version was built with .NET 3.5, so that's what it needs.
