trickman
Could it be possible to create our own folders on the effects list and then put effects in the folder? Because, this is happening to me and it's kinda annoying:
BoltBait
It is really up to the individual effect writers to organize their effects. Perhaps, if you propose a system of catagories, the effect writers could use it when writing their effects. Or, failing that, you could download the source code to all of your favorite effects and change the grouping and recompile them yourself. Bob
Is it possible something like FEBE & CLEO on firefox? Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio

BoltBait
Well, I don't know any of the C languages... You could still suggest a listing of catagories that developers could use when coding effects. Crazy Man Dan
I'm not sure how feasible it would be, but how about organizing effects DLLs into folders within the Effects folder, then having the effects menu -> submenu structure imitate the directory structure? For instance, I could create a folder called 'Render', put the Clouds, Gradients, Grid, and Toon filters in it, then create a folder 'Shadow' and put Drop Shadow and Google Maps Shadow into it, et cetera. That way, the user could control the organization, without having to rely on the plugin developers to agree on a naming scheme. Just a thought...
