Soccer Crest Help

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I am a newb when it comes to Paint.NET. I had a little bit of skill, or so I thought, with the old photoshops and other graphic editors but its been quite a while since I used any of them. I am trying to create a crest for my soccer team. I am basing its shape and stylings on the Chelsea FC logo. Are there any good templates or do you guys have any tips as to putting me onto the right track?

I dont want anyone to make it for me as I enjoy doing all the customizations myself. Just looking to get steered in the right direction.

remember to put each piece on a seperate layer-

once you have an object like the vollyball put in place on its own layer, duplicating that layer then flipping it horizontaly, will put the same ball mirrored on the other side of the graphic providing that you have the graphic centered

plug-ins that might help

as for why a soccer badge has a volleyball graphic.. you will have to figure that one out on your own

look up graphics for both soccer and volleyball on google, see which one that looks like.. maybe it was "back in the day" and thats cool, but today thats a volleyball

soccer balls have pentagon sections nowadays
