Tsachi
Hi 2 All, i am new to Paint.net and was just downloading Paint.NET v3.5.9(Beta Release build 3.59.4278.36311). I have a PNG file for which I would like to remove the whitebackground and I will appreciate it very much if someone could instruct me howto do it in this latest version. I found an answer for this issue in the webhowever I cannot find the "Alpha Mask" under "effects" instep #2. It would be appreciated if anyone could provide me with the bestand easiest steps to complete this task in v3.5.9. Many thanks! TheHowler
Easiest way is to use magic wand to select the white and just delete it. Be warned though, it does leave jaggies. I would also recommend Grim Colour Reaper, but that won't work very well if your picture has a lot of white.
