kwgrid
I was just able to reinstall Paint.net 3.5.8 this morning after weeks of troubleshooting an install problem. It was a Microsoft issue and was resolved. However, the eraser does not work and neither the paintbucket nor the paintbrush work when choosing the 'clear' option to clean the color. I don't know if I'm saying that right. At any rate, those tools won't clean/eliminate color. FYI, this same problem began occurring just before my last version (the one just prior to this one) was corrupted and had to be removed. Choosing the tool from the bar on the left would not work but using the pulldown menu to select the tool would. Now, neither way works. ??? --------------------------- Is my face red?! Sorry. I figured it out. I have to choose 'overwrite' now. Edited September 14, 2011 by kwgrid
pyrochild
Sounds like you have an active selection, or are using the tool on a different layer than you think you are. Get rid of selection by pressing Esc or Ctrl+D, and check that you're working on the right layer. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
