jaynbe Posted August 22, 2011 Share Posted August 22, 2011 Something is wrong with AD/GPO deploy for this installer: unlike the description doc. for unattended Installation http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/UnattendedInstallation.html With: /createMsi "TARGETDIR=%PROGRAMFILES%\Paint.NET" you get a working Windows Installer; but NOT installing under "%PROGRAMFILES%"; it will allways install under "C:\Program Files" Editing the msi you can see the installer path pointing to "C:\ " Would be nice to have variable path working in the next version. Rick Brewster Posted August 22, 2011 Share Posted August 22, 2011 You're doin' it wrong. %PROGRAMFILES% is being expanded by the command-line parser, before it even gets sent to the setup wizard. It might be to use brackets, e.g. [PROGRAMFILES], but I'm not sure. Use the search, Luke ...
