Kayreeed Caliburn
I typed some random words on another layer (arm below words). What I want is like the words are "etched in" to the skin of an arm, like scars. Is there a way to achieve this? I'm currently doing a project
mountnman
ummm can you post an example?-- if you wanted tattoo like effects i would sudgest apha displacement...somethinglike this http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21508-contouring-text-to-the-background/ http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/22313-alpha-mask-plugin-did-i-download-the-right-one/ however- first doing that then duplicating thew arm layer. merging the text into the top arm, using hi pass maybe-- http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/22239-having-trouble-finding-photoshops-high-pass-effect-in-pdn/page__view__findpost__p__356738__hl__hi pass__fromsearch__1 Quote SARCASM- Just one of the many services I offer free to the public. pdnnoob
To get an effect like that really depends on how your font looks...then after your font looks right, how the edges of each letter looks, then the rest is a piece of cake (layer blend modes and simulated shading a.k.a. drop shadow manipulation) Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. It's the filling that can change your experience of the sandwich. ~Ego Eram Reputo
