Which effects or plugins do you use most often?

For your editing/creations, which effects or plugins do you use most often?

I'm mostly doing avatar work right now. I find myself using the new Outline effect in 3.0 and BoltBait's most excellent Feather Plugin.

I use the Codelab effect 10x more often than any other plugin.

I use BoltBaits gradient all the time. I mostly use it to make circles that are centered on my canvas. I know that sounds weird but its true.

How do you do that?

One trick I've learned for placing circles accurately is to place a rectangular selection where I want it first. Or just using a elliptical selection, moving it, and then filling it (but then it's a little jaggedy).

I use his radial gradient and then use the magic wand to select and remove the undesired sections of my circle I the either adjust the contrast and brightness or just fill the select with my desired color.

I use the Gausian Blur Most of the time. It is the best way for me to get a lot of my effects.

Glow and gradient are my favorites. I use them all the time.

The Hue/Saturation "adjustment" and the gaussian blur.

They are both really useful for me becauseI can experiment with background colours quickly with the Hue feature, and I can get rid of blocky bits on anything I draw with the gaussian blur.
