ariazzfairy
So I got Paint.net 3.5.8 and I tried to use the Clone Stamp, it worked the first two times, but then stopped working. So I started searching for answers why it wouldn't work, and I tried all of them, including reinstalling, checking the Color Alpha Slider and everything I could think of. I don't know why it doesn't work, but I really want it to work. Anyone knows how?
Ego Eram Reputo
Be sure you're using it correctly. It is the CTRL key that sets the stamp location More >> http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/20321-how-does-the-clone-stamp-tool-work/page__view__findpost__p__340447 The Help docs >> http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/CloneStamp.html Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
ariazzfairy
Okay, well, okay this is what I do: I open my image. Then I go to Layers- Import from File, which opens my second image in my second layer. Then I resize my second image and then presses Clone Stamp. The circle appears. I resize the Clone Stamp Circle to 90. Then I place the circle onto the place where I want to clone and click CTRL and click. Then I release CTRL and there is a circle on the place I want to clone and then places the clone stamp circle onto the place I want to clone too. I click but then nothing happens even through there are two circles now. WAIT. Now, it works. Well sorta. I can clone a part of the picture that I originally wanted to clone too but then I can't clone a part of the picture that I want to clone from. WAIT. No, it worked for a few seconds then stopped working again. Edited June 23, 2011 by ariazzfairy
