Matt101840 Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 I'm sure you all have heard about the Nintendo 3DS and all of it's fancy no glasses needed 3D. Although it is not the first glasses free 3D, but it is still pretty sweet. Of course I'm sure that you're going to assume since I'm posting in the off topic board about a video game system, I'm trolling or trying to get friend codes. Well I'm not, I'm just posting here to inform the Paint.net Off Topic board that I will take 3D image requests. So those of you who have a 3DS and feel like they want to see their favorite picture/creation in 3D (And not that crappy 3D where it's just a flat image with it's sides hidden behind the DS' screen, the good stuff with layers and whatnot) go ahead and start posting. I've attached a couple of the .mpo files of my own creation that the 3DS uses. The Santa Cruz Screaming Hand one is what I meant by "the good stuff with layers" And the Whoa Man one is just another example of what's possible. So all I would need is the image you want to be the background and the other image that you want to be the first layer of the 3D picture. I am not going to cut out any pictures for you, so upload it with a blank background (.gif, .png) Also you'll need to tell me how 3D you would like it. As you can see the 3D is more intense in the Whoa Man image than it is in the Santa Cruz image. Santa Cruz Moon Fire Whoa Man 3DS users, you are able to visit these download locations with the 3DS' browser and download the images directly to your 3DS. No need to waste time removing your SD card over and over again. In the case of the galleries, some people just like looking. When you're at an art gallery (where the artist is present) do you immediately hunt down the artist and tell him your thoughts on every single piece as you view it? No, you probably just look, unless you feel you have something valuable to say. In this case, nobody has a 3DS. Nobody. In both cases, you need to remember that many of these views are coming from search engine crawlers or guests to the forum without accounts. From the lack of requests you can surmise that no one currently wants to avail themselves of your services. Get used to it. Okay? Now if the technique is one that uses paint.net, why not publish that as a tutorial? That way you can share the process with others, rather than keeping it to yourself. That way you can share the process with others, rather than keeping it to yourself. I used paint.net for it. However I also had to use some other programs, they required no installation. Similar to Unfreeze.exe except the use of Paint.net is minuscule, so anybody could use any other type of image editing software and get it done. Especially with your avatar being some God-like Professor Xavier guy, I would expect there to be absolute perfection.
