Hellfire010
Request 1: Additional Line Drag Points You know how you have 4 points when you make a line, to drag and curve it. I was wondering if it were possible to make more of those points, that way you could make many more curves. Request 2: Advanced Layer Organizer I was making a little something, and I noticed the layers were getting sort of annoying since I had, for example: Read bottom to top So on and so forth... Image 2 Image 1 Image 1 Glow2 Image 1 Glow1 Stars Stars Gaussian Blur Stars Hor Motion Blur Stars Ver Motion Blur BG Highlights (Purple) BG Highlights (Green) Black BG So, I was wondering if it were possible to create a sort of separator between groups of layers. Something like this: Excuse the bad text art ______________________ | - - - - - - -- [Etc] -- - - - - - - | So on and so forth... ______________________ | - - - - - -- -- - - - - - | Image 2 ______________________ | - - - - - -- -- - - - - - | Image 1 Image 1 Glow2 Image 1 Glow1 ______________________ | - - - - - -- [stars] -- - - - - - | Stars Stars Gaussian Blur Stars Hor Motion Blur Stars Ver Motion Blur ______________________ | - - - - - - -- [bG] -- - - - - - - | BG Highlights (Purple) BG Highlights (Green) Black BG This would allow for various new features. You can get much smoother and more natural curves that way. TinSoldier
I could see layer-grouping being a useful advanced feature. Do any other programs have this?
Rick Brewster
I'm pretty sure Photoshop does. Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Hellfire010
I was kind of hoping Paint.NET would be the first, lol. So, what are the chances of grouped layers in pdn?
jake2k
this sounds like a cool idea, and you know what would be really cool? If you could put in an option to merge only the layers in a specific group Quote ^Click to visit my Flickr Gallery^
Hellfire010
Yeah, I was thinking things like that along with applying an effect or property change to all in that group.
Leif
Maybe combine this with the new possibilities to open several files at once. Say, have each group in a separate file. And some features to combine and synchronize them in a “master†Quote My DA: http://leif-j.deviantart.com/ -------------- Some people seek justice so persistent, that they will do great injustice themselves.
