carnaige
HI there Brand new to these forums and was hoping someone could help... i have had a quick search but couldn't find what i was looking for. I am hoping to create a canvas for my wife of our baby girl for mothers day. I have a photo that I wish to make black and white whilst maintaining the blue eyes of our baby... I read that this can be done using paint.net Can someone please tell me how or point me in the right direction... Many thanks
Sarkut
Open the color picture in Paint.NET. Duplicate the layer. Make the top layer black-and-white. Adjustments > Black and White Erase the area where you want the blue to show through.

Ego Eram Reputo
Do a search for the 'pleasantville effect', that's what we call this effect around here. Alternately, there is this plugin: Extract Color which automates the effect.
