10199
Hello all, I found that it's possible to start paintDotNet and open an image from an external program. But can I export the result of my work in paintDotNet to some external program? I looked up for a while in plugins section, but they are by far all for effects. One plugin can upload image on some site, but I need to exchange images between programs.

If you "save as" JPEG, GIF, PNG, etc, you can then open it with more or less any other package. It is a basic function and no plugin is required! I'm sure i can I'm just need to change manual operations (open save dialog, write name, click save button) to program feature (click "move to 10199 program" button);
Simon Brown
You could try ThatOtherApp, which will load the edited image back into Paint.NET when you've finished. It will only bring the current layer over, though. Or you could just copy & paste it over.
Sarkut
With Simon Brown's Drag From plugin, you can drag-and-drop a layer from Paint.NET to another program.
