Caillah
I am new to this program although I am familiar with the old Paint Shop Pro 6 from years ago. I am looking to use it to make simple geometric patterns for stained glass projects. I was hoping to find some tutorials that would help me with layers, objects and vectors. Also, I am using the guide on the ruler to place my objects and was wondering if there is a way to type in the starting and ending point or does one just keep moving the mouse until you are lined up correctly? Sarkut
Here's some info on layers: http://tinyurl.com/PDNLayerswindow Put your objects each on its own new layer for ease in editing. Paint.NET is a raster editor, so no vectors. Just keep moving the mouse when using the rulers. You can use the keyboard arrow keys for micro-adjusting the mouse cursor position. .
