Xzerizon
Awesome space images. Some of the best on here. The future is my favorite genre. All the technical detail and machinery I love. Especially space scapes- I've made my fair share of those. Anyway, this is all amazing. Keep it up! Quote 'Civil disobedience is still disobedience.' skullbonz
Thank you all three of you for your comments. I did what you did dug and went back to the old photobucket, also letting them know why I switched, lol. It has been awhile since I have been able to post any pictures so I added quite a few this time around, lol. I hope you like what you see. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery-update-november-4th2012/#entry349670 @Xzerizon,,,I love the future genre also. I strive to better myself in this area but am doing so on a low budget forcing me to use free versions that limit options. I have found that learning even the free versions of these programs is a difficult task without formal training but will prepare me for when I can ever afford the pay versions. Paint.Net has been the best program I have found and has proven to be useful for many different things. I am having a hard time trying to make nebulas,my favorite space views, but will not give up until I can make them look like a Hubble pic, lol. Thank you for your encouragement,it tells me I am going in the right direction. dug
Nice new pieces, you have been busy.I am really liking how you have mixed all the softwares together and producing such outstanding work. They look like Hubble pics to me.Keep them coming! HELEN
These are such stunning spacescapes! You really create such beautiful and wondrous artworks. I like how you show in your work that there's civilization other than on our planet. I believe there is, at least. "Art of the Mind" album....wow! How'd you create them all so differently and beautifully? skullbonz
Thanks dug,I will. Thanks Helen,I find it hard to believe there isn't life other than us with all the billions of planets out there. As for the Art from the Mind, well,a lot of experimenting, all the great plugins,no formal art training so I think outside of the box,I like to do something different than others and I lived through the hippy days, lol. And both of you two have awesome pictures also. Quote http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery

skullbonz
Thank you both for your comments. Hard to believe that two years ago I didn't know what an abstract was, lol. And I knew you would like those three Barbie. Oh ya,I added one more,I call it Aquasnake, lol. skullbonz
At the top I added an abstract that looks to me like Scooby Doo from the cartoon show, lol. What do you see? lol This could be fun, lol. Also at the top of the space pics I added 2 of my most recent ones. HELEN
Oh my gosh! I DO see Scooby-Doo! Very cute. By the way, both spacescapes are gorgeous. I really like the swirling rainbow colors in the first one and the texture of the space ground. The second image is very interesting. Looks like I am inside a spacecraft looking out the window and admiring the view (well, I am already in a way). POPPY58
Hi, I just got here to Paint.net. Newbie in a lot of ways. I'm looking around to see how this place Flows. I like your Artwork very much! I haven't done any here yet but, by what I have seen in the Gallery I'm kinda worried that I can match up to any of the Artist here! ~~~~~~POPPY58
skullbonz
LOL,Glad you liked Scooby,Helen. One of my favorite cartoons when growing up. I love making space pics but have to admit that I use terragen for the close up land. Everything else including the planets are made in pdn. Been playing with blending modes, layering and different effects to make nebulas, soon they will look real like Welshy makes, lol. POPPY58 I said the same thing almost 2 years ago when I found paint.net so don't give up or feel you can't do it. Start with tutorials, pick the ones that interest you and do them until you can make good pictures but don't be afraid to experiment. After awhile you will start using some of those techniques and make your own pictures from scratch. It won't be long and you too will be saying this to a noob. skullbonz
Thank you Welshblue. With terragen you can render it with the atmosphere not visible so removing the sky is quite simple and then the mountains can be brought into PDN for the rest. The snake one is an aquaduct right down the road from me and always reminded me of a snake so I gave it the skin, lol. skullbonz
Sorry, something is up with photobucket, can't get thumbnail links to work right. I'll post more when I figure it out. HELEN
The butterfly's really beautiful. It looks like it's moving. The swirling blue and red design is amazing. It seems ruffly...something I wouldn't mind wearing as a decorative piece for a simple blouse. I love your photo manips and the blue orb that looks futuristic. I'd love to hold it in my hands and see it glowing close-up. Nice job on all your works! :) Quote Don't spit into the well, you might drink from it later. -----Yiddish ProverbGlossy Galaxy Ball---How to Make FoliageMy Gallery PDN Fans--My DA
barbieq25
Skullbonz, it isn't photobucket. Thumb links here are busted & Pyro is working hard to fix it. barbieq25
Sorry, but I think PB is playing up. Aside from the fact that thumbs are having an issue on here, it also did not work on the Fans forum either. Looks like we will need to stick to direct links to images for the time being (: Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. HELEN
You've been busy creating such wonderful art pieces! The first one is very clever. I can definitely see the skull and bones in there--kind of like a tie-dye effect. The spacescape right below it is really cool. The perspective makes me feel like I'm walking on the planet. The blue, enery-like ball is awe-mazing! It looks so much fun. The reddish nebula image (not sure if it's a nebula, though) is stunning--I'm thinking I might be entering a time warp... The image you created for FB is lovely. It's festive and appropriate for the great holiday. Wow! Keep up the amazing work.
