xverges Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Hello The autoupdate has been failing for some time now (I'm at version 3.5.5) Today I downloaded the package by hand and tried to install it. SetupFronEnd crashes. The evnt log reports Faulting application SetupFrontEnd.exe, version 3.57.4068.30276, time stamp 0x4d61b689, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18327, time stamp 0x4cb74dd3, exception code 0xc000007b, fault offset 0x00000000000b6f08, process id 0x2fd8, application start time 0x01cbda5814626100. The reason Rick produces newer versions is to improve each one, not because he likes watching the version numbers increase. Info that might help us to help you: System specs? OS? .NET version?
