Pepito
There is no need to have different menu items for rotating an image (or layer) because: clockwise 180 = counterclockwise 180 clockwise 90 = counterclockwise 270 and vice versa It also makes no sense to have different submenus for flipping an rotation (the symbols are very usefull!) So You finaly could collect all essential operations in one submenu "rotation" : - clockwise 90° - counterclockwise 90° - flip horizontaly - flip verticaly - user defined (corresponding to "rotate/zoom") The above AND the user defined rotation "rotate/zoom" should be availabel for both image an layers: actualy it is only for layers. (I often have to adjust distorted scans an so I want to rotate the whole image just for about 1°) At the end I have to remark that the dialog for rotation/zoom is not very clear in the lower parts: What is thew meaning of twisted angle? It is misleading and not very intuitive. Neverthelesse I make this suggestions, I appreciate Your work very much! Best regards Josef
crosswalker
I've always kindof wondered why there were "rotate 270" options in that menu. Not that there's a problem, they just seem rather superfluous perhaps something like this would be slimmer:
trickman
So You finaly could collect all essential operations in one submenu "rotation" :- clockwise 90° - counterclockwise 90° - flip horizontaly - flip verticaly - user defined (corresponding to "rotate/zoom") But, the point is, images cannot rotate its width 327,345349645775563 degrees.
