execbp
Hello, I am a relatively new user. I have been through these forums several times trying to determine whether PDN can handle opentype fonts. The answer seems to be no, but I have seen posts that say PDN has supported opentype fonts since version 3.5. I am thinking the answer is no, because all the opentype fonts I have installed in my Windows font folder are not showing up in PDN, but can anyone tell me definitively one way or the other? Thanks, Greg
Sarkut
most OpenType fonts have the luxury of being able to be saved in both .otf and .ttf formats, making them highly compatible and just as easy to distribute. http://www.brighthub.com/multimedia/publishing/articles/80115.aspx All of the Open Type fonts in my Fonts folder have .ttf extensions. They all show up in Paint.NET.

Rick Brewster
I wouldn't count on OpenType working on XP. Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
