Goonfella
I have been getting lots of 404 Errors when clicking on links on this forum , even though the page requested definitely does exist. For example in the Plug in section on the Bricks plug in page there is a link to jchunn`s plug in pack but all you get is a 404. It`s the same with the link to the tutorial mentioned . And if you do browse to the page where his plug in pack is available every link to each of the different plug ins gives a 404. What is the problem and will it be fixed? Sarkut
The problem is the result of the change to the new forum last April. There are many links throughout the forum that haven't been updated. Since the old forum no longer exists, the old links go nowhere. . pyrochild
You've been posting pretty consistently since the Great Forum Migration, Goonfella. How, in the past 10 months, have you not noticed that? Not sure if serious.... Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Ego Eram Reputo
The Error 404 "Page not found" is displayed whenever you request a page that does not exist or not available. Usually the diagnosis is that the page has been removed, or the link is obsolete, or both. If the link points to the previous forum host (Forumer) then you can rest assured that the same page can be found here. Use SEARCH. If the link is to a plugin, it should be updated. Let me know via PM, or add a reply to the thread where the link is found and we'll fix it.
