Crazy Man Dan
I know this has been brought up before, but I don't know if Rick intends to do this. However, as at least a temporary fix, you can tell Windows to not cache the thumbnails. This may cause a slight drop in performance (if you're running an IBM 486, or have 200 images in the folder...), but it will stop the creation of the thumbs.db file. To do this, open up the Folder Options dialogue (Control Panel -> Folder Options or Tools -> Folder Options in an explorer window) and check the "Do not cache thumbnails" checkbox (right above the Hidden Files and Folders radio button subset). Rick Brewster
Dan is correct. If you don't want the Thumbs.db file, then you should disable Windows' thumbnail caching.
