KSue
I have used the grid plug in but would be easier to be able to make template for the different sizes I need.
Sarkut
Start by making a 1" filled black circle on a new layer using the Ellipse tool with Shift key down. Duplicate the layer until you have enough for as many columns as you want. Position the black circles horizontally with the Move Selected Pixels tool. Merge all the black circle layers. Duplicate that merged layer until you have enough for as many rows as needed. Position them vertically with the Move Selected Pixels tool. Merge all the black circle layers. Save as PNG. You now have a mask that can be used with the Alpha Mask Import plugin effect to cut holes in whatever you want. So, if you have cut holes in a white layer, you can position the images that you want to fill the holes with on lower layers. ========================================================== If a white holey layer is what you will always be using, save that layer as PNG. You can import that PNG file into each new project. Layers > Import From File... =========================================================== Repeat the process for each different size/shape and save the PNG file separately for re-use. .
