ben710
I attempted to install the above version of paint dot net. It says I require service pack 3. Is there any way of installing a previous version of paint dot net that does not require SP3? Thank you in advance.
Rick Brewster
Previous versions are not available. Do not ask for them. This is stated very loudly in the rules. The solution is to install SP3. Did you know it's been available since 2008? It's free. What're you waiting for?! ben710
I cannot install service pack three. I do not currently have the technical knowledge to explain why. Is there anything that can be done? Edited January 18, 2011 by ben710
Sarkut
Best to ask for help getting SP3 installed at a Windows support forum like this: http://forums.techguy.org/21-windows-xp/

ben710
I found an older version on the internet. Works perfectly no problem at all. (without SP3 on Windows XP) I will never upgrade my computer (risking all files/programmes) for the sake of one programme. I also found the previous comment * "Get Windows 7" very annoying. *(I know how to click "Quote previous post" I just couldn't find the button) so there is no need to tell me how to use the forum, because I wont be using it again. Rant over good day,
Rick Brewster
I also found the previous comment * "Get Windows 7" very annoying. And I find it aggravating when people cling to a 10 year old operating system and demand that I spend half my free time bending over backwards in order to support it, when I'm giving this away for free in the first place.
