Rick Brewster Posted October 22, 2006 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Try reinstalling Paint.NET 2.72 first, and if you run into trouble check out the post at the top of this forum about installing/uninstalling. I actually have implemented some cool stuff that should enable 3.0 to auto-repair itself and avoid this type of crash you're seeing. The problem is that, for some reason, one of Paint.NET's files got deleted on your system. I don't know why it happens, but I've had it happen to me a few times and I get enough crash reports about it to make it an important issue to address in this upcoming release.
