The Bottom shadow effect

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

280icrb.jpg

I was searching on the net for a tutorial or even Paint.net plugin for a bottom shadow effect and gladly found a tutorial for it using Photoshop here

I am much a user of Paint.NET (simplicity) and would desire a turorial for PDN and even better a plugin written that could render this for PDN (Paint.NET)

In particular different types of bottom shadows too

Thanks for reading.

It's much too short of a tutorial to be posted without breaking the forum rules

On a layer under your object...

1. draw black dot where you want the shadow

2. gaussian blur (amount depends on size of dot)

3. motion blur at 0 degrees (amount depends on size)

or

3. Layers:rotate/zoom (ctrl+shift+z) and play with the settings
