This we can do.

One of the best tips I've come across regarding logo design is that your logo needs to be simple enough to be easily discernable on your business card when viewed from 2.0 metres. Example: Nike 'tick' = good identification from a distance. La Coste 'green alligator' = poor (too much detail is lost - it's a green blob at 2 metres).

So:

  • Simple palette - perhaps two or three colors + the background color
  • High contrast between the logo and background color.
  • If using text elements, make them large!
  • Decide the color scheme early. Use complimentary colors & write the colors down!
