Rick Brewster
Hello rick can you add support for font in attachment this problem always in Photoshop for arbic and farsi font this is just some exaple font this is very important please.so evrey one switch to paint dot net fa_font.zip If the font won't work then there's nothing I can do about it. If you're on XP then you might try upgrading to Windows 7, or Vista (with SP2 and PlatformUpdate), at which point DirectWrite will be used instead of GDI for the Text tool and font list. DirectWrite is generally better when it comes to font support and rendering quality. pyrochild
hessam, you already got your response: If the font won't work then there's nothing I can do about it. If you're on XP then you might try upgrading to Windows 7, or Vista (with SP2 and PlatformUpdate), at which point DirectWrite will be used instead of GDI for the Text tool and font list. Rick Brewster
Almost half of the development effort that went into Paint.NET v3.5.x was related to fonts. If it won't work, then there's really and 100% honestly nothing more that I can do about it. Djisves
While scanning my computer with the new AVG Anti-Virus v.10 Free Edition for the first time today, I got the following message: "C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Staging\PaintDotNet_1449569617.msi" > "The file is signed with a broken digital signature, issued by: dotPDN LLC." I know it’s nothing to worry about, but I thought it might upset other users. If nothing else, Rick could fix the digital signature.
Rick Brewster
The MSI won't have a good signature because it's modified by the installer. This is normal and nothing to worry about. hessam
Hello rick frist when change language this tooltips on shortcut Paint.NET dosent apply "Create, edit, scan, and print images and photographs." and when change lang all folder for target lang not making folder with target lang Paint.NET User Files subfolder ->Custom Brushes ->Effect Presets ->Palettes فایلهای کاربری نرم افزار subfolder ->Custom Brushes ->Effect Presets ->جدول رنگ
Simon Brown
and when change lang all folder for target lang not making folder with target lang Paint.NET User Files subfolder ->Custom Brushes ->Effect Presets ->Palettes فایلهای کاربری نرم افزار subfolder ->Custom Brushes ->Effect Presets ->جدول رنگ Both of the folder names that weren't translated belong to plugins. My opinion is that it's more trouble than it's worth for a plugin to translate its own special folders, especially since the Custom Brushes folder is used by more than one plugin. NeilHollingum
I have been using Paint.net for some time to construct images for Microsoft PowerPoint 2003. From images I copy and paste sections of images from Paint.net to PowerPoint. I have noticed with the latest version - 3.5.6 - I get a black line to the right of the image over part of the length of the pasted portion. I have reverted to an earlier version - 3.5.3 - and discovered that this works correctly without the black line. I have attached an image showing the problem. I constructed this by using the two different versions to copy and paste the same sction of a diagram into PowerPoint and then pasted back the two images into version 3.5.3. Is this a known bug and is there a work-around other than reverting to earlier versions which keep nagging about updates? Best Regards Neil Hollingum
Rick Brewster
This might be a bug in PowerPoint 2003. Can you provide the image you are copying from Paint.NET? Also, do any other programs exhibit this? What about newer versions of PowerPoint?
