SAC Comp Rules: All submissions must be created in Paint.net with the exception of stock photos, which are required for this competition. You must post a link to any stock images or parts of images you did not create in Paint.net. Minimum size is 800 X 600. There is no Maximum Size. Special Rule #5. Do not anger the Possum. Submission Rules All images must be POSTED IN THE ENTRY THREAD! DO NOT PM ME WITH YOUR ENTRY! Post your entry and the stocks you use. (Come on, you remember how right?) YOU MUST INCLUDE YOUR STOCK IMAGES ! You may post your image on any other website where you are a member (i.e. Deviant Art, PdN Fans Forum, Facebook or any other forum or website NO PLACEHOLDERS! Do not send an entry until it is a finished product. NO WIPS (works in progress) ! No images previously submitted will be allowed. I reserve the right to add to the rules as people do things to annoy me. (See special rule # 5.) THEME IS: Landscapes. Theme rules: You are to make an image depicting a landscape that does not exist in nature or features in a landscape that do not exist in the original landscape photograph. In this case, if you choose to create some of the image yourself (original artwork) that is also allowed for this round. An example might be to add a lake to a landscape where no lake exists, or a mountain range where there are no mountains. The modifications to the image you make should be dramatic and easily recognizable. To simply add a single flower or animal to a landscape or change the colors would not be acceptable. If you choose to do something crazy, all bets are off and you can create to your little heart’s desire. YOU MUST USE STOCK IMAGES ! Dagnabit you bunch of whippersnappers! You may use another program to create parts of your image i.e. Apophysis, Gimp, Incendia, Photoshop, etc. The largest part of your image must be made in Paint.net. (Remember, Possum’s have a sixth sense about things like this, do don’t make me hunt you down. So with that in mind, special rule #5 is in effect for this competition ). This thread is for DISCUSSION only ! So everyone can get started on the next (and last) round, here is a brief description of the theme. The theme is 3D HDTV. You are to use one of these two images (see thumbs below) to create an image that looks like the advertisements you see for 3D TV and 3D movies. The idea is to show something popping out of the TV screen. The rest of the general rules from the previous two rounds apply, ie. stocks only, no renders, you must link to your stocks, blah, blah, blah...... I'll have the official rules written up before the poll closes.
