luigi2000
Major Geeks reports that Paint.NET 3 requires XP/2K. This is incorrect. Too bad Win2K is not supported. Seems that I will be a longtime user of Photoshop 6. I will not go along with WGA.
Rick Brewster
MajorGeeks is incorrect then. Paint.NET requires XP SP2 minimum. I don't know how you're linking Paint.NET and WGA though. rhann
could be to do with .NET framework, although i don't think it is covererd in WGA
FiNGOLFiN
i think he is referring to upgrading to xp means WGA hassle. There is a really easy way to not bother with WGA, and its perfectly legal, called autopatcher. so get xp then get pnet 3! marcdk
hmm I just don't want to upgrade to xp because i'm happy with 2000 and I don't see it nessesary to upgrade, until now there are more and more applications dropping support.. why is that? There are still many many pc's, company's using 2000, and I still hope there will be a special version for 2000 or still support in 3.x or updates to the 2.x branch.. but I don't think this message will reach anything

You have your needs, and I have mine.
