Sarkut
For the top picture, open your smoke stock photo In Paint.NET and add a new layer. Press F4, and set the Blending Mode to Multiply, Color Burn, or Overlay. Use the Paintbrush tool to add purple splotches, then blur it. Effects > Blur > Gaussian Blur =========================================== For the bottom picture, make a color gradient in a new file. Then import the tree branch silhouette photo. Layers > Import From File... Set its Blending Mode to Additive. http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/3447/treegradient01.png Edited October 3, 2010 by Sarkut
