Some fractal works manipulated with PDN:

th_watercolor.png

th_morbidthoughts.png

After 10 crashes, 5 completely filled PDN files, and too many please for help from my computer to remember, I present this wallpaper. Stupid photobucket resized WAY down, but oh well. This was originally around 2048X1500 or so... I am not finished with the entire piece (this is just one corner of the entire artwork).

th_CDBS_heatstroke_wp_small.png

This is 100% PDN, but I used a stock in the full WIP.

the original of this abstract is 2048X1536. Photobucket unfortunately resized it to 1024X768. If anyone would like a specific size ratio of this one, just tell me and I will upload it. My personal favorite part of it is the top left corner.

Black star CD cover. I submitted it (more details on DA) and will hopefully get an email on the verdict soon. I tried to upload it into Photobucket, but it was taking forever (3 hours, just like DA) and it never finished. I finally gave up and settled on a lower resolution version. But I will not spend that long to upload it into photobucket. I still wanted to share it with everyone here, so here is the link.

Using Sargon III's tutorial

th_glossyorb1.png

Here is another 'black star' picture. It was meant to be a wallpaper, but... I forgot to change the size when I started. So it stayed 800x600. I am fairly disappointed at that, but there was nothing I could do about it by the time I realized it.

Just a test to see of one of my many untested ideas was worth pursuing deeper. The nebula is a mandelbulb 3D fractal that I rendered myself. I distorted it, and added planets, in paint.net. For a lack of a better name, I call it: Galactus Feeds

By the gods this is superb! You say "...so you can laugh" under the old stuff, but those are still good! What are you talking about lol. I love how you did the spaceship cockpits. And the abstracts...wow, simply put, amazing! Nothing to criticize, as these are all refreshing hahah. :P

@St1cki3: well thank you, im glad you loved them! i wrote that because id like to think my newer stuff is better, i know i laugh when i look at them. the spaceship cockpits were probably one of my best ideas, and i didnt like the first one i made, so i couldnt let the idea die with that. so i redid it from scratch. i dont know which background is better, the abstract or the realistic, you decide.

by the way, hows the weather in the 7th dimensioin? :)

@Mayor_McSteeze:im glad you like them too! i dint think people would like those so much. a tutorial would be very hard to write, since they are all done differently and i dont write down the process. but i might find time to write up a simple 'how to' sort of thing.

thanks for your praise!

Lol, it's not to bad actually. I have to admit it's much more stable than in the previous dimensions, but after us...it's a whole 'nother story. Dark matter rules and the weather is never nice (trust me ;))

@barbieq25: thanks, im glad you like them.

@cortez: i hope i can load pictures fast enough! and i am working on one, slowely...

@stone85: thanks, its one of my personal favorite car models: ford torino cobra. it took a long time to get it to where it is now, though i will admit that the proportions are still a little off.

@st1cki3: ill take your word for it.

thank you so much! the best part is: i wrote down how to do it, so now i can recreate them and probably even improve them!

next step: add planets!

ive been fiddling with planet textures and shading effects on planets, so hopefully i will eventuly create a finished planet scape. but i probably wont post any new artworks for a while. life is getting busy for me. :(

I read above that you wrote down what you did - good on you! I'm afraid I get too tangled up in what I am doing to write anything down because I'd be crossing out more than was written

Most of us still have a long way to go...I can see that you are not satisfied to rest on your laurels. I like that!
