Multi Layer Selection

I have a drawing with multiple layers. Each layer contains a certain drawn effect. I would like to be able to use the rectangular selection tool and move a part of the drawing from one area of the canvas to another but move all of the desired layers at the same time instead of each layer seperately.

Can this be done? Is there a plugin that enables this?

As of yet, there isn't a way to do this. You will have to move each layer one by one. As for a plugin to automate this, that's also not possible, as plugins can only influence the "active", or "selected" layer. Sorry.

You might try the panel plugin on one layer, then Ctrl-F (repeat last effect) on the other layers.
