simmo
Hi, I have .net 4.0 installed - yet anytime i go to run the install file for paint.net it tries to connect to download .net 3.5. I'm working on a testbed network with which has no internet connectivity - is there a paint.net install that just installs the application and doesnt try and install .net as well? So frustrating. Rick Brewster
Install .NET 3.5 SP1 first. .NET 4 is only used if it's the only framework installed. If you're on Vista then you will always have .NET 2 and 3 installed, and Paint.NET cannot use .NET 4 in that case. Rick Brewster
Win7 should have .NET 3.5 SP1 installed already. If you've removed it, then ... well ... un-remove it I guess.
