robertall
http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=217 After reading this thread, i think it will be a great idea to make paint.net read .psd files. It would useful as i cannot afford photoshop, and my pc cannot handle photoshop (i run XP pro, 0.4GHZ Petium 2, 192MB ram). Yay or nay? Rick Brewster
There was another thread about this (other than the one you mentioned). Anyway, to summarize it, I looked ino what it'd take to do this and the amount of effort was enormous. Paint.NET not enough of a subset of Photoshop to make this feasible, and even then the file format is so complex that it would take months to accomplish and there would be so many issues that no doubt would come up and require debugging.
