combining graphics

Recommended Posts

OK...TOTAL newbie here! I am trying to create a logo. I have a set of wings that I am trying to put a letter "K" on with a halo above. I have the graphics. I have managed to get the separate graphics isolated to just the graphic...with no background. But HOW do I combine them. They are in separate windows and I can't figure it out!!!! And, the checkered background complicates it also with the ways I've tried so far...OMG...I'm about to tear my hair out! Help this idiot, somebody please!

If I understand correctly, you have three files open,

each with an object on an otherwise transparent layer.

Go to the file/layer with the letter K.

On your keyboard, press:

Ctrl + A

Ctrl + C

-----------------------------

Go to the file with the wings and press:

Ctrl + Shift + V

----------------------------

Go to the file/layer with the halo:

Ctrl + A

Ctrl + C

-----------------------------

Go to the file with the wings and press:

Ctrl + Shift + V
