Image Watermark (not text)

Bonjour jean pierre (I'm assuming here),

We'd need a bit more precision as to what effect you are trying to achieve; have you got any examples to show us perhaps? From what I understood however, you'll want to look here:

The same technique should apply. Paste/import your watermark image into a new layer over your photo then lower the opacity of the new layer (press F4).

The image you import will need to have large areas of transparency for the underlying photo to show through - thus it will need to be in a file format that supports transparency, like png or gif, not jpg.
