D3T0N4T0R
Why do you need something other than WMM? It does everything you need... and more if you install plugins. And I really can't find many good free ones. But I'm sure there's something out there. Just keep searching ;-)
DarkShock
Sony Vegas Movie Studio works fine. Its not free, but you can find it for about $90. Not bad considering what it does. Atradese
Does anyone know any good free video making software...freeware, open source? I need something other than windows movie maker... I feel your pain. I'm trying to make tut vids for some games I play and it's not going well at all. Why do you need something other than WMM? It does everything you need... and more if you install plugins. I would consider getting the plug-ins if WMM didn't lock up every time I try to do more than add a blend/fade effect. Any attempt at serious editing and it's just an epic fail. And I really can't find many good free ones. But I'm sure there's something out there. Just keep searching ;-) This is true. Finding anygood ones for free is nearly impossible unless you are running linux in which case there is openvideo. The best I have found for windows to date is. VideoPad If you find anything better than this let me know I could sure use it.
D3T0N4T0R
Or unless you illegally download software. Which isn't cool. But yeah, I would love to have the 'PDN' of video making software. Free, easy to use yet powerful. Everything seems to be the video equivalent of GIMP or regular Paint. Which is really annoying. And I've only downloaded plugins for transitions. So I don't know what makes WMM screw up. But I'll download VideoPad once I get more internet - used up almost all of it By the way, that's an awesome signature. How'd you create it? Atradese
By the way, that's an awesome signature. How'd you create it? Thanks. I used this really awesome tutorial:Trail Plug-in 3D Text Tutorial Only thing I did different from the tut is I removed the stock image at the end. and this Breakaway font which I really liked. tvaproduction
If you need freeware then Windows movie maker is the best option because no other free software will have the features which WMM have.
