RolfHabing
Our users do not have write access to the desktop. This causes problems when Paint.Net needs to write its errorlog. Is there a way to relocate pdncrash.log to e.g. to the user's home folder? pyrochild
NO. Write access in not only the Desktop, but the entire \Users\MyUserName\ or \Documents and Settings\MyUserName\ directory tree is assumed by a great many programs, not just Paint.NET. Why do developers make this assumption? Because that's how it should be... That's the whole point of that part of Windows' folder structure. pyrochild
OH! For the record, 4.0 won't save crash logs on the desktop. But that's a long way off.
