core 2 duo

Recommended Posts

Imagine how it runs on this Core 2 Duo 2.93ghz that I overclocked to 3.2.

Zoom zoom, indeeed :)

Oh, and fyi RaveN, the Core 2 Duo is, per GHz, 90% faster than the Pentium 4 / Pentium D :) Not to say the 3.7 you have isn't awesome -- but just imagine how much more awesome your next upgrade will be ...

Wow seriously thats gotta be amazing! Bet it set you back a fair amount though (unless you got it because of your job at microsoft).

Just out of interest whats your actual set up?

It's actually my work system: http://blogs.msdn.com/rickbrew/archive/ ... 64890.aspx . It was supplied by Intel.

My personal system is an Athlon X2 4800+ with 2 GB RAM, a 256 MB GeForce 7800 GTX, some Raptors, and a 24" Dell LCD, running 64-bit Windows XP. And the Core 2 Duo is always always noticably much faster.
