Paint.net icon keeps messing up on 7

Recommended Posts

So I've re-installed Paint.net, latest version, about 15 times now. My computer is less than 24 hours old so I doubt it's a virus. For some reason, the icon just WILL NOT APPEAR. It shows up on the desktop shortcut, but not in the start menu or when running it. Here's a screenshot. I'm running 7 home prem 64bit.

Is this normal or is something wrong??? Is there a way to fix it? It's bugging me to no end.

Things like this have happened to me before. What I do is right click the program in your start menu, click properties, than click change icon.

The Paint.Net icon is here: "C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\PaintDotNet.exe".

I don't know if this type of thread is allowed though. It's not really a Paint.Net problem.

Tried that, even inside the folder the icon is messed up. Only time it appears normally is in a shortcut on the desktop, or when i open the uninstall window or the properties window. If i click on the messed up icon and choose properties it appears correctly, dunno why when it's in the start menu the icon's screwed up.
