GL1zdA
I would like to extend a portrait photo to make a wallpaper. The photo has already a nice, soft left border (dark red/black) which I would like to extend further to the left, fading it to black. How can I do this with Paint.net? (I'm trying to copy a 1 pixel wide stripe from the left border, extend it, and somehow blend it with a black to white gradient filled background). Sarkut
Make a 1 or 2 pixel wide selection of the left side of the image. Use the Move Selected Pixels tool on the left center adjusting node. Stretch it to the left. ================================================= On a new layer, make a rectangular selection on the left side. Fill it with black. Apply a Linear Transparent gradient to it.
