pyrochild
After creating your text, you can go to Layers -> Rotate / Zoom () or select the text with the selection tools (), choose the Move Selected Pixels tool () and right-click and drag to rotate. ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Fame
This is a 4 year late reply - but for those still looking at those post. Create a new layer for the text, hold the Right button on the mouse and you'll be able to rotate like that.

Thanks for trying to share some help, but you might want to read the forum rules such as # 11 http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/2932-read-first-the-rules-yes-you-read-this-2013-12-21/#entry22025.
