Shape3D (2007-08-24) [Updated August 2017]

Recommended Posts

MKT, I'm having trouble using to the Righthanded Coordinate System. Its seems very difficult to me. I had no problems with the Lefthanded Coordinate System you had originally. Would you be able to add an option to switch between the Righthanded and Lefthanded Coordinate Systems?

I'm not very good with image programs but I've just downloaded and tried the Shape3D effect. This is truly awesome. MKT has given us a remarkable tool.

Thanks!

Maybe it is possible.

Howdy everyone!

Paint.Net really rocks. I just got it. Previously used a "snarfed" version of Photoshop 5.5 but this software can do almost as much. Love it so far. Especially these wicked-cool plug-ins. (Thanks!)

Bit of a problem with this plugin. Downloaded the 1.2.6.0, but everytime I choose it, it creates a ball with the picture then the whole program freezes and stops responding. Have to close through Taskmanager. This happened twice. I'm on Vista-32 bit.

Any suggestions.

Thanking you!

Hello,

I downloaded this plugin, and it is astounding!! This is some of the best work I have ever seen. I would like to thank everyone involved, this must have been a tremendous amount of work...

The only question I have is, I can't seem to get the image on the side of the shape that I want. For example, if I select Cylindar and only select the Bottom (As I want the image on the bottom), nothing shows up. How do I get the image on the bottom? I am having a similar problem with the sphere. How do I get the entire image to show up on the sphere, as opposed to just a portion of the image? I apologize if these questions have already been addressed, I read the tutorial, and a good bit of this thread, and didn't see anything about this.

Thanks Again,

How about you stop trying to undermine the security precautions set in place by your network's admin! Download it from a computer where you have the right to. Simple, huh? :D

Edit:

I just noticed you email address. I'll email it to you.

Hey, I have the right, its just they don't want us on sharing sites. So they over filtered in this case.

Anyway, I had it sent to me and it is working.

Thank you very much.

By the way, this plugin is awesome. What is he using for the 3D? DirectX OpenGL??? Managed I'm sure.

MKT is the best to answer this (being the creator and all :D :D ) but i believe that the 3D representation doesn't come from render software like DirectX or OpenGL. I think that it is through a really high-concept algorithm that renders in it self the 3D representation. I believe that renders through a series of gradients and image background manipulation.

Anyway I too think that this is a greaaaaaat plugin :)

Hello. I am very excited about this plugin, but I cannot seem to download either the ZIP or DLL from MediaFire. When I attempt to download the ZIP, I am redirected to a page that says, "Oops! File not found!" When I attempt to download the DLL, I receive the message, "No servers are currently available ." I assumed that the download page was picking up a lot of traffic, so I continued to try for about an hour without any luck. If someone could email me either the ZIP or DLL, I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks!

Mr Frojo,

First of all, thanks for your help. For some reason I'm not having any luck--all morning I've been receiving the same messages:

ZIP:

1189871886_tps101.jpg

DLL:

1189871912_tps101.jpg

EDIT:

When I try to "Save Link As" with the ZIP file, this happens:

1189872630_tps101.jpg

Maybe the server is busy--I'll keep trying. In the meantime, any suggestions would be appreciated (even if it's just to stay patient!), or if it's possible to email me the plugin, that would also be great:

tps101@gmail.com

Thanks again.

I have tried many times this morning and always receive the "Oops file was not found..." Message. If someone would email it to me or post it in another location I would appreciate it. It appears that the file could be attached right to a post. If not I can try back another day.

My email is jim@lesinski.com

Thanks,

Jim
