Specular highlights? Interior refractions? XML data exporting?

I am expecting the next version to have an "Overthrow The World" button.

AMAZING!

 "overthrow the world" FTW!!!

spartac.

Still, the cause is not understood if there is no details of the

error.

Details of the error are scheduled to come to be displayed in the next update

like the beta version.

Though it is good when the cause of the error is understood.

barkbark00.

I think that it was able to understand.

MKT, would it be possible to have the cylinder cap setting be Perhaps, independent for each side?
It might be possible.

@MiguelPereira

look at Ash's Pumpkin again. its in the shapes the elongated sphere - horizontal radius is less than 1

multiple layers and some flipped layers.

its his shading and lighting I just can't come up with. but it does remind me a bit of the lava lamp tut he did for us all awhile back.

am I even close Ash?

Ash that's not possible! How did you made that in PdN? Even with Shape3D.

Really nice work :D

Thank you :)

It is 100% PDN

Used shape3d.

appx 10~15 layers.

I also used Tube effect, Waves, Dents, Drop Shadow, Erode/Dilate

I don't remember if I used clouds or not :P

and a lot of other :BrightnessContrast: :Curves: :LinearGradient: :Glow: :RadialGradient: :GaussianBlur: :ReliefEffect: adjustments. And some blending modes for layers..

I think..

@oma, It did started from a sphere :) I'm not sure what you mean by the lava lamp as they are made with totaly different method. :?:

Erode are in the eyes and mouth.

Dents are in the skin of the pumpkin. This gives a more real look and not just smooth surface as shape3d usually gives.

Ideas just pops into my head, I try to draw whatever is in my head, as you can see my work covers a lot of things...from a pumpkin to Alien Planets and back to a Needle. :?

What i'd suggest for a possible next update, is the ability to thicken the lines. For example, when i want to create, say... A pipeline, and view it fro the frontside, the lines are only so thick... wait, i'll show:

HA! THAT is some great stuff. :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I dled this plug-in a while back but have been avoiding using it since the interface intimidated me. (Yes, even with the English translation. All the tabs and buttons and angles freaked me out. :P)

Anyway, today I decided to try it out and I'm amazed by the results.

Shape 3D took this 5-second squiggle:

squiggle.png

and turned it into this:

squiggleball.png.

(Okay, I added a little cast shadow. But still!)

I know I'm a little late in saying so, but thanks MKT!

Do you mean on the squiggle or the sphere? The original squiggle had anti-aliasing turned on already; here's the sphere with AA set to 5 (and transparency 'cause I wanted to see what that would look like :)):

I know it's not perfect. But I still think it has a pretty high coolness:effort ratio. 8)
