Smudging with Paint.Net?

Hi guys,

I'm used to a tool called the Smudge Tool. It blended two or more pixels together. I used it to blend a line or crack between two unlike textures to hide the line between the two.

Can Paint.Net do this and how?

Thanks,

I can't download Smudge. For some reason I get this:

File: C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects\Smudge.dll

Effect Name: pyrochild.effects.common.LiquefyRenderer

Full error message: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'pyrochild.effects.common.LiquefyRenderer' from assembly 'pyrochild.effects.common, Version=2.0.3106.38959, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Pixey,

Have you downloaded the latest plugin pack from here:

http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=10634

Do you have "pyrochild.effects.REQUIRED.dll in the

Effects folder as well as the Smudge plugin file?

Golly Sarkut - You are so clever! Thanks so much. No, the 'Required.dll' was not in there. How odd that the other plug-ins worked without it.

And this is for you :star:
