Trasnparency border/edge

Is there an pluggin that can make the edge of the selected area trasnparent?

I did not find a way to do it right.

If you want to give the edges of your selection a softer look,

try Feather Selection - part of the BoltBait plugin pack.

If you want to see your image without the active selection

border obscuring the view, press Esc to deselect.

To immediately bring the selection back, click on the undo icon. :Undo:

If you are trying to say fade the edges of a selection ( make a transparent gradient for edges) then use Alpha Mask plugin, by turning the selection to black, Gaussian blur it then use it as a mask in the Alpha Mask plugin on the original selection.
