Oneshot
I'm getting a firewall alert that Paint.NET (PaintDotNet.exe) is trying to connect to www.paypal.com 64.4.241.49 using remote port 443. Is anyone else getting this? I've just stopped all active response. I'll stop back tomorrow or Friday night for reply's. Thanks
pyrochild
Did you click a donate button in Paint.NET or a plugin? Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
Rick Brewster
Paint.NET only ever connects to getpaint.net in order to check for updates, and then to either getpaint.net or dotpdn.com to download the update. Maybe you've got a virus or something. It's not unheard of for a virus to inject threads into another process and "do stuff" so that the other guy gets the blame. 443 is the port for HTTPS (secure HTTP).
