Enzan55
Hi there. I'm an isometric pixel artist and I really like Paint.net's efficiency for pixel art, except for one thing. I was wondering if I could draw a line without the nubs popping afterward. You see, I primarely use the line tool and always need to press Enter to make the dots disappear or else I can't draw another line near the end of the first one. I know theses nubs can be really helpful for typical users but for me they are a total pain in the < no swearing >. Any ideas?
Sarkut
Enzan55, After drawing a line, just do a mouse-click off of the edge of the canvas.

pyrochild
"I don't want to press this key after each line" "Okay, just press a different key!" Besides, real pixel artists use the pencil tool. ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!

Enzan55
So there is no way I can deactivate the nubs thing? I mean really deactivate it for good not with a key each time I draw a line. Wouldn't it be nice to have that kind of option included in the software?? I'm sure this would please many fake pixel artists  What about a plugin?? Hack? Thank you for the replies so far. Sarkut
You could make a macro recording of the Enter key being rapidly pressed for several seconds. Then set it to repeat play when you want to use the line tool.

Sarkut
Or just hold it down. That's even better. Or put a paperweight on the Enter key.
Simon Brown
Of course, be careful what you hover your cursor over when holding down return.
Enzan55
Or just hold it down. That's even better. Or put a paperweight on the Enter key. Nothing against your idea but I would rather not use something from the physical world to solve this kind of issue lol.
pyrochild
There's really nothing we can do other than suggest increasingly silly workarounds. Sorry. ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
