Illnab1024
Application version: Paint.NET v3.0 (Milestone 1 Release build 3.0.2449.32181) Time of crash: 9/16/2006 10:05:38 PM Application uptime: 00:00:00.4687500 OS Version: 5.1.2600.131072 Service Pack 2 Workstation x86 .NET Framework version: 2.0.50727.42 x86 Processor: 1x Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz Physical memory: 639 MB Exception details: System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'PaintDotNet.LayerElement' threw an exception. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Must call InitScaling() first at PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.UI.GetXScaleFactor() at PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.UI.ScaleWidth(Int32 width) at PaintDotNet.LayerElement..cctor() --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at PaintDotNet.LayerElement.SetAllowRefreshPreview(Boolean flag) at PaintDotNet.MainForm..ctor(String[] args) at PaintDotNet.Startup.Start() at PaintDotNet.Startup.Main(String[] args) --pdncrash.log I took my build 2440 lying around, deleted it, and renamed by folder with build 2449 in it and renamed it to the Path 2440 used, which was all my default open and edit files. Do I need install 2450 manually and see what happens? EDIT: And so you know, all my dlls are 2449. I am really thinking this is a registry disagreement the current loadup doesn't fix... Illnab1024
Okay, a fresh install of 2450 worked...and it loads up...although I would still look into this, because I remember doing that with previous versions didn't harm it.
