A couple patches ago, or so, this was not happening, but the Rectangle Select tool is not releasing upon selection of other tools. You discover this when you try to start using, say, the clone tool for example. The clone tool won't work until you go back to the Rectangle tool and click somewhere in the working window. Sarkut Posted February 26, 2010 Share Posted February 26, 2010 If by this you mean that the selection is not eliminated by switching to another tool, then this is normal. It's always been that way. It has to be, otherwise we'd be unable to use other tools within a selection. On my PDNv3.5.4 install, the Deselect icon and Ctrl D still work to eliminate the selection.
