Servant_Of_Thor
I have an image pack i'm making into brushes, but a few of them come out skewed, or stretched. Any way I can stop that from happening? :? Quote "I'm attracted to you like the Earth is attracted to the Sun - with a large force inversely proportional to the distance squared." Sarkut
Be sure that the image used as a brush is on a square canvas. The brush tool will treat it as square and squish it otherwise.
Servant_Of_Thor
So, if i use the lasso tool and select around the picture to be made into a brush, that would cause it to stretch? If thats it sweet, easy fix, thanks. Quote "I'm attracted to you like the Earth is attracted to the Sun - with a large force inversely proportional to the distance squared." Sarkut
Yeah, actually regardless of how you make the image, the canvas aspect ratio is what's important. So, if I open PDN with a default 800 X 600 canvas I need to crop to 600 X 600 before saving or the brush will look squashed-in sideways in use. Simon Brown
Is this just in the brush list or actually on the canvas?
Sarkut
Actually, now that I check, it applies only to my Paint.Net v.3.36 setup. In the current version, it looks squashed in the brush list, but applies as a brush without distortion.
